Rozella J. Masek, 67, of Oelwein, Iowa died on Tuesday morning, February 13, 2018 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, Oelwein with Rev. Joshua Schunk officiating. Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein and for one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice. Online obituary at www.jamisonchmitzfuneralhome.com Rozella Jane Bruster was born on September 10, 1950 in Waterloo, Iowa the daughter of Charles Omar & Elizabeth M. (Croskey) Bruster. She graduated from Oelwein Community High School in the class of 1968. Rozella was united in marriage to Edward Otto Masek on June 7, 1976 in Rock Island, Illinois. Rozella previously worked at Lands End in West Union, Amoco Foam in Oelwein and retired on January 2, 2018 from Bertch Cabinets in Jesup. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Rozella enjoyed music, fishing and taking care of her flower garden and yard. She especially enjoyed all the times she spent with her family. Rozella is survived by her Step-Daughter: Marcey (Mark) Jensen of Atkins; 2 Step-Sons: Edward (Randi) Masek of Kamrar & Brett (Christina) Masek of Decorah; 7 Grandchildren: Aubreya (Ken) Matteson, Miranda (Jamie) Sonka, Jesse (Heidi) Jensen, Brooke (Ty) Klingbeil, Dustin (Amanda) Masek, Kyle Masek & Rachel Masek; 10 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Ernie (Barb) Bruster of Madrid & Dennis (Virginia) Bruster of Amana; Sister: Zanita Blume of Sparta, Wisconsin; Several Nieces & Nephews and a Special Friend: Jeff Abbas of Oelwein. Rozella was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Ed on November 30, 2004, brother: Russell Marshall, sister: Margaret Beltz and a granddaughter: Kelsey.
