Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, Iowa; Officiating:Rev. Leo Combs-Lay; Visitation: from 10:00 A.M. to service time on Tuesday at the funeral home; Inurnment will be at a later date.

Jeffrey Allen Smith was born on July 15, 1971 at Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Robert and Darlene (Rasmussen) Smith. He attended Oelwein Community High School in Oelwein, Iowa. Jeff formerly worked at Walvatne Building and Remodeling in Sumner, Iowa. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, fishing and gardening.

Jeff is survived by his Son—Jacob Smith of Oelwein, Iowa Sister—Susie (Al) Kuper of Independence, Iowa Brother—Terry (Diana) Smith of Marion, Iowa 9 Nieces and Nephews and 9 Great Nieces and Nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents.
